Tassie Trip

Hi everyone,

we had a great time in the beautiful state of Tasmania. Autumn is  a great time to visit weather is perfect this time of year. Binalong Bay north of St Helens in the Bay of Fires was our favorite place to stay, although we were impressed with Bruny Island. Would recommend anyone to go and spend 2 weeks at least over there….

Will post some pics from Easter Festival next time.

Harmony Village Landscape Features 2009

 Hi everyone,
hope you are all managing the hot weather and your gardens are surviving a few more weeks until the calm and cooling of the autumn days are upon us. Those of you have native plants will notice the plants cope with even the extreme conditions we have had this year. Its time to choose your new plantings for the coming year so when the end of autumn is near we can safely plant. The Native Nursery in Bendigo http://www.goldfieldsrevegetation.net.au/ has a great range of indigenous plants to your local area.
So here's hoping for some much needed rain soon. Caio for now Carol.

Work and Barn updates..

                      Hi all,
just a quick update on work and play ...... Some of the pics posted are of P.12 paving for their Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Project some really cool paving and the 'Fowl Mahal' is just the best chook pen I have ever come across cleverly built by Jack and apprentices at TAFE in Shepp great job guys. It will soon be installed at P.12 school in Rushworth so look out for it. It will also be featuring in St Marys P.S open garden day held last Sunday in October so stay tuned for that.  The other pictures are of some work jobs over last few months and paving around the barn at the north end just completed before the rains last night and the freezing temps today brrr..... Our first creative day in the barn is coming up in few weeks so I am looking forward to enjoying creating, relaxing and sharing with like minded friends.
                                                 Ciao for now  Carol x
